Moving to the New UI - Info & FAQ

Our New UI / Fundraiser Redesign is available for rollout and migration of existing fundraisers on your site!

We recommend speaking with your CrowdChange Partner Success Representative and moving to the New UI at your earliest convenience.

From November 17th 2023, the New UI will be enabled on all CrowdChange sites.

Is there any action required on my part?

We strongly recommend speaking with your CrowdChange Partner Success Representative and setting a preferred date to move your site and fundraisers to the New UI.

It is better to plan your migration rather than wait and be unprepared for the changes.

What happens if I do not take action?

From November 17th 2023, the New UI will be enabled on all CrowdChange sites. If you do not act to migrate existing fundraisers to the new UI, in mid-late December 2023 they will be automatically migrated.

I’m worried I will be confused by the New UI workflow/interface.

We understand that workflow updates can come with some hesitation and uncertainty because they introduce new ways of doing things you are already used to doing a certain way.

Your CrowdChange Partner Success Representative is a resource to lean on, and they are ready to schedule a meeting with your team for an in-depth walk-through and discussion of this migration.

We encourage all partners to get acquainted with the New UI and migrate sooner rather than later.

If you are not yet comfortable enabling the New UI your live site, we can set up a separate testing site for you to use and familiarize yourself with the changes.

What will happen to existing fundraisers when my site is migrated to the new UI?

Once the New UI has been enabled on your site, any new fundraisers created will be on the New UI. However, existing fundraisers will not be automatically migrated - you will need to migrate them on a manual / one by one basis.

In mid-late November 2023, the old UI will be officially deprecated and any fundraisers still on the old UI will be automatically migrated to the new.

Remember that your CrowdChange Partner Success Representative is there to guide you throughout this process, and we encourage you to reach out to them directly with any additional questions.

Are any new/additional features automatically enabled when an existing fundraiser is migrated to the New UI?

New design features native to the New UI will not be automatically enabled (i.e. Purchase Options Block, Join This Fundraiser Block, Map Location, etc.). The features which were enabled on your fundraiser in its old UI state will be enabled in the New UI state.
