Mailing List - Contact & Recipient Limits

In order to prevent the proliferation of spam messages via the CrowdChange Mailing List, certain limits are in place around sending to and adding large numbers of contacts, as well as how many emails can be sent per hour.

Please see below the limits currently in place (defined by user role):

Maximum number of recipients that can be added without approval when sending an email:

• Personal Page Owners: 100

• Team Page Owners: 100

• Fundraiser Owners: 500

• Site-wide Admin: No limit

Maximum number of contacts a user's address book / contact list can hold at any given time:

• Personal Page Owners: 1000

• Team Page Owners: 1000

• Fundraiser Owners: 5,000

• Site-wide Admin: No limit

^ These specific limits do not apply to the following contact lists: Donors, Previous Donors, Team Captains.

Limits regarding how often users can send emails via the Mailing List:

• Personal page owners, Team page owners and Fundraiser owners are limited to a specific number of contacts per hour, listed below:

  • Personal Page Owners: 500

  • Team Page Owners: 500

  • Fundraiser Owners: 5,000

  • Site-wide Admin: No limit

• Once you reach the hourly limit, you cannot send another email until a new hour begins.
